Observe residents’ progress and communicate changes or concerns to the nursing or rehabilitation team. Maintain accurate documentation of restorative services provided and residents’ progress in compliance with facility protocols. Assist residents with feeding, grooming, and other activities of daily living as part of restorative care. Promote a safe and comfortable environment for residents during restorative care activities. Provide encouragement and motivation to residents to achieve their restorative goals. Train residents in proper techniques for mobility and transfers while ensuring safety. Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other team members to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes. Clean and maintain restorative equipment and therapy areas as needed. Participate in team meetings and contribute to care plan updates. Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations. Providing feedback to the interdisciplinary team about status changes of residents receiving therapy. Scheduling and prioritizing workload in collaboration with the Rehab Director.
