What qualifications you will need: PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS Applicable to all hospitals in the Austin market, unless specifically noted for select facilities. All seasonal staff are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period. Regardless of start date, seasonal program/assignment ends on March 31, 2027. Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need. Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period. During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee), if holidays fall during their temporary assignment period. Seasonal Staff are TEMPORARY status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital. Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for benefits. Registered Nurses who are in the Seasonal program will have one opportunity to pass the clinical competency evaluation. Current FT/PT & PRN employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program. Our 24 bed inpatient unit provides stem cell transplants, Car T cell therapy and clinical trials, with a focus on providing exceptional care and cutting edge treatments close to home.
