Shift/Hours: Full-Time – 36 hours/week, Night Shift 7P-7A Job Description: The licensed registered nurse is a professional nurse who is responsible and accountable for providing evidence-based clinical care to designated patients utilizing the nursing process. This is accomplished by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care according to established ethical/cultural codes and standards of nursing practices and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes. Must demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background. A general job description can be provided upon request. Qualifications Education, Credentials, Licenses: Graduate from accredited School of Nursing. If eligible, must have a Compact (multi-state) License in their primary state of residence. Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state-required courses. Focus of education promotes nurses’ ability to practice in clinical area assigned. Specialized Knowledge: Demonstrates knowledge of nursing theory, clinical practice standards, procedures, policies and competence in mathematical calculations associated with medication administration. Shift/Hours: PRN Job Description: The Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) is a licensed Registered Nurse, meeting all the criteria defined in that description. A licensure credential of RN/SANE is obtained to indicate additional training and skills related to forensic nursing care. Forensic nursing care integrates forensic and nursing science within assessment and care of victims and perpetrators of physical, psychological or social trauma. Basic forensic nursing is practiced by Registered Nurses who have knowledge and skills necessary for a specific role in forensic nursing, such as a SANE. Specialized care involves the collection of evidence, identification and documentation of injury in population that may include but not limited to sexual assault, suspects, interpersonal violence, elder abuse or vulnerable populations. The RN OP Wound Care/HBO is a professional nurse who is responsible and accountable for providing evidence-based clinical care to designated patients utilizing the nursing process. Responsible to delegate tasks appropriately to other licensed and unlicensed health care team members. Responsible for providing assessment and coordination of the care of patients requiring wound care assessment, management, and treatment. The RN OP Wound Care/ HBO will work in an intake/wrap up role initially with potential opportunity to advance to case manager. This position may also act in the dual role of Hyperbaric Registered Nurse (HRN). In addition to responsibilities of the Outpatient Wound Care Registered Nurse, the HRN acts as the attendant and control operator of the hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) chamber under the direction of the HBO physician. Hyperbaric oxygen experience is not necessary for this position and additional training can be obtained within the role.
