Job Details Requirements: Baccalaureate in Nursing (BSN) is required from an accredited college or university. Meets annual contact hour requirements as determined by the Professional Development Program. 1 years of RN experience required. Currently licensed as a Professional Registered Nurse in NY State. Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association Physically able to perform CPR, lift 20 lbs of equipment, document, and stand/walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to Travel to various locations across Long Island to administer vaccine and respond to exposures (5% travel). Triages basic employee injuries and escalates care if needed. Observes HIPAA rules and regulations and protects PII. Must have excellent customer service, leadership, and delegation skill. Works with a multi-disciplinary team across all of Catholic Health. Computer skills are essential with emphasis on Microsoft excel, word, and the ability to function in EMR systems. Key Responsibilities: Assist physicians with patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment. Order, review, and communicate tests and results. Coordinate admissions, transfers, and follow-up care.
