Charge Nurse - Hospitalists - FT - Day

Position Status: Full time Shift: First Shift (Days - Less than 12 hours per shift) (United States of America) Hours per week: 40 Job Information Exemption Status: Non-Exempt A Brief Overview The Hospitalist Charge Nurse is responsible for supporting and supervising the daily operations of the Hospitalist Case Management team. Primary duties include providing support for cardiologists' offices and various logistic duties. Medical Assistant has contact with patients on a regular basis. Electrophysiology nursing incorporates the intra procedure care in which the nurse will use a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Electrophysiology nurses have been trained in procedure and nursing process to include strict adherence to the procedural safety, sterility, sedation management, assistance to Anesthesia services, airway management, and pain management. The electrophysiology nurse will educate patients about the procedure.
