Daily Pay Some of your Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities include: Admissions, Discharge and Transfers of residents Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians Medication administration Following infection control, emergencies, and other center policies Collaborating with resident’s interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes Identifying and reporting all abnormal changes in residents’ condition to proper personnel per center policy Works under direct supervision in accordance with the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and nursing judgment. Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care. Collects patient/resident data, makes observations, and reports pertinent information related to the care of the patient/resident. According to state-specific regulations, implements the patient/resident plan of care and evaluates the patient/resident response. In accordance with state-specific regulations, directs and supervises care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations. Maintains knowledge of necessary documentation requirements. Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use, i.e., monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc. Maintains confidentiality and patient/resident rights, regarding all patient/resident/ personnel information. Daily Pay Pay Rate: $18.00-$25.00/hour ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA): Performs duties such as: activities of daily living- bathing, dressing, assistance in nutrition and hydration, locomotion/ambulation, feeding, incontinence care, toileting, oral hygiene, skin care, grooming such as: comb/brush hair, nail care, shave. Bowel and bladder assistance, maintenance rehab, proper understanding of least restrictive devise regulations, proper utilization of restraint devises, special care needs. Provide for residents with special needs related to their diagnosis (i.e. behavioral issues, splints, etc.) Reports all cases of alleged violations involving mistreatment, neglect or abuse including injuries of unknown sources. Documents resident care accurately and completely at point of care utilizing computerized medical record system. Notes resident changes of condition and reports same to LPN/RN. Answers call bells in a timely and polite manner. Assists in provision of post-mortem care. Performs vital signs as directed. Reports on duty, listens to and/or obtains report from Charge Nurse, receives assignment. Makes two hour and prn rounds on all residents. Keeps unit neat and clean; straightens nourishment station, clean and dirty utility room and other areas as assigned. Ensure the resident is out of bed, dressed and ready to participate in activities of choice. Provide assistance with ADLs during activities if necessary. Assist resident to participate in individual activities of choice, (i.e.: set up of equipment, positioning assistance, providing sufficient lighting and space).
