Bowel and bladder assistance, maintenance rehab, proper understanding of least restrictive devise regulations, proper utilization of restraint devises, special care needs. Provide for residents with special needs related to their diagnosis (i.e. behavioral issues, splints, etc.) Reports all cases of alleged violations involving mistreatment, neglect or abuse including injuries of unknown sources. Documents resident care accurately and completely at point of care utilizing computerized medical record system. Notes resident changes of condition and reports same to LPN/RN. Answers call bells in a timely and polite manner. Assists in provision of post-mortem care. Performs vital signs as directed. Reports on duty, listens to and/or obtains report from Charge Nurse, receives assignment. Makes two hour and prn rounds on all residents. Keeps unit neat and clean; straightens nourishment station, clean and dirty utility room and other areas as assigned. Must also meet state requirements for relevant licensures or certifications and have no disciplinary action in effect against professional license.
