Perioperative CNA

Job Summary: The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm, working 36 - 40 hours per week based on staffing needs. The Perioperative CNA provides essential clinical and environmental support within the perioperative environment. This role helps to focus on ensuring efficient room turnovers and safe patient care and transport. The assistant works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to facilitate high-quality patient outcomes and streamlined surgical workflow. The Perioperative CNA performs duties related to patient care consistent with hospital policies, as directed by the Registered Nurse. Assists with pre-operative transfer of patients to preoperative area, pre-surgical prep, positioning assistance, OR room turnover, and supply management. Duties can be expanded as necessary. Education and Training: High school diploma or GED required Licensures/ Certifications: Current Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant license required. Current American Heart Association’s BLS/CPR certification card on hire or within orientation period. Experience: Medical background and previous hospital experience preferred. Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills Ability to take direction and follow through Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods (8-10 hours) Ability to lift, push and pull heavy equipment and patients. Clinical Nurse Educator - Critical Care Specialties

Job Summary: Are you passionate about teaching the skills that empower nurses to deliver exceptional patient care? Looking for flexibility? This position is posted as Full-Time but has the flexibility to be hired into Part-Time, and can be profiled from 24 - 40 hours per week. Based on the availability and preference of the right candidate! The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) role is integral to the success of TriState Health; participating in the onboarding and orientation of new staff, providing training and continuing education, updating policies and procedures, and working with hospital leadership to develop and meet strategic organizational goals. Duties include evaluation of evidence that supports clinical practice, implementing changes in the delivery of safe patient care, ensuring staff competency, and prioritizing organizational education needs. In addition to sharing Clinical Educator Generalist duties, this role is responsible for overseeing and teaching critical care and other specialties components of the education program. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Training: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, bachelor's degree or higher preferred. Licensures/ Certifications: Current Washington State RN license. Current American Heart Associations; BLS/CPR. Experience: Minimum of 5 years nursing experience in an acute care setting, required. Leadership experience, preferred. Skills and Abilities: Personal attributes to include ownership of actions, organized, open-minded, effective communicator and ability to adapt. Skills to include strong basic nursing and the ability to coach and guide staff striving towards excellence in patient care. RN - Lewiston Family Practice

Job Summary: The RN will perform various patient care activities and related services in caring for the needs and comfort of patients under the direction of the physician or midlevel provider. RN duties include (but not limited to): assessing patients physical, psychosocial and behavior health needs; advocating for patient; administering prescribed medications, immunizations and preparing exam room, procedure room, and assisting providers; documenting in the EMR according to TSH policy and procedures. RN-House Supervisor

Job Summary: The schedule for this position is every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) night shift 6pm - 6:30am. The RN House Supervisor supervises, directs and coordinates activities of patient care throughout the hospital on an assigned shift. Assigns department staff according to patient acuity and census. Provides additional administrative support in the absence of departmental managers facility-wide. Coordinates resources for patient care activities and provides guidance to personnel on duty. To accomplish this, excellence in delegating, decision making, critical thinking and effective communication is required. The House Supervisor position includes a $5.00 hourly differential. This position is eligible for the $1.00 BSN/MSN hourly differential. Core Charge Nurse - Full Time/Night Shift

Job Summary: This is a full-time, night shift position that includes a $3/hr Charge Nurse differential. The Core Charge Nurse provides consistent, reliable leadership on night shift in the Medical-Surgical Department. Works directly with department leadership to share information about operations, solve problems, and promote process improvement. Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients and their designated support person(s); supervising assigned team members. Nursing care is rendered to all patients in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, hospital, Nursing Department and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: · Collaborating with the team to solve problems at the bedside, answering questions, providing education and resources or tools when necessary. · Orientation of new employees; oversight of the preceptor/orientee process. · Conflict management between staff. · De-escalation of situations with patients and visitors. · Providing input to the Supervisors and the Director for scheduling and performance evaluations. · Participation in the selection and training of new relief night charge nurses. · Reporting positive and negative events that occur on nigh shift to department leadership. · Participation in a committee, such as unit-based council, which addresses departmental improvement.
