Job Description We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the MHealth Fairview Neurology team. This is an outpatient role and will be practiced primarily at the CSC and the Maple Grove Clinic locations. The APP will play a key role in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care to individuals with complex neuromuscular disorders, working collaboratively with neurologists, multidisciplinary specialists, and allied health professionals. Practice Details: Outpatient neuromuscular care — Conduct comprehensive evaluations, follow‑up visits, and longitudinal management for patients with conditions such as ALS, myasthenia gravis, muscular dystrophies, peripheral neuropathies, and motor neuron diseases. Diagnostic coordination — Order and interpret laboratory studies, imaging, EMG/NCS results, and genetic testing in collaboration with supervising physicians. Treatment planning — Develop and implement individualized care plans, including medication management, infusion therapy coordination, and symptom‑focused interventions. Multidisciplinary collaboration — Partner with physical therapy, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, social work, and specialty nursing to support holistic patient care. Care continuity — Provide ongoing monitoring, patient education, and proactive management of disease progression and complications. Research participation — Support clinical research activities, including patient recruitment, data collection, and protocol adherence, if research time is allocated. Practice Details: Monday – Friday No current weekend or holiday requirements Position Qualifications A qualified candidate will be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and formal Nurse Practitioner training program or a graduate of an accredited Physician's Assistant program. Have a current MN RN license and be approved or eligible by the Minnesota Board of Nursing for prescription writing privileges or a current PA license with prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Medical Practice. MPhysicians, in partnership with CentraCare, is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner or a Certified Physician Assistant to join our orthopedic practice in the St. Cloud, MN. The orthopedic section is a multispecialty practice with fellowship-trained sports medicine, adult reconstruction, foot and ankle and trauma surgeons and primary care sports medicine physicians. This candidate will be assigned primarily to the Sports Medicine team, currently three surgeons and two PA’s. Patient care includes clinic, assisting during surgical procedures and managing patients in the perioperative environment. The team provides highly specialized care using innovative technology and techniques in treating sports injuries, other soft tissue complaints and upper extremity arthritis. Procedures include shoulder, elbow, hip and knee arthroscopy; knee, shoulder and elbow ligament reconstruction; shoulder and elbow arthroplasty; hip preservation surgery; cartilage restoration and transplantation and deformity correction. With demonstrated proficiency and experience, the candidate will independently evaluate and treat musculoskeletal patients in an outpatient and hospital setting. The candidate will work together with the entire section in trauma call coverage, orthopedic urgent care staffing and other clinic duties to support the practice. The University of Minnesota Medical Center (UMMC) is a 1,932 licensed bed facility, Level III Trauma Center, Stroke Center and Level I Cardiac Center. Between our two adult emergency departments, approximately 50,000 patients are seen with close to 14,000 admissions annually. In our pediatric emergency department approximately 23,000 patients are seen annually accounting for 3,000 admissions. Our PAs and NPs serve as integral members of a multidisciplinary team providing excellence in emergency medical care. In addition, the PA/NP coordinates care with consultant services, recommends follow-up care, facilitates referral to various internal and external facilities and takes part in multidisciplinary continuous quality improvement. Our UMMC Adult Emergency Medicine provider group includes about 40 physicians and a growing number of PAs/NPs. Patients are seen in both the West and East Bank Emergency Departments, which house over 50 beds. Our Pediatric Emergency Medicine provider group is comprised of 17 physicians and sees patients in a 12 bed Masonic Pediatric Emergency Department. Our group is focused on providing high-quality patient care and expanding the academic focus of the University of Minnesota Medical Center. We work with several learners at various stages in their medical education.
