Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Valley Oaks Post Acute in Santa Maria, California. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, psycho-social, and spiritual needs are met. Job Responsibilities: Implement the established plan of care for each assigned group of residents under the direct supervision of a registered nurse Provide total care for chronically ill and technologically dependent residents, including administration of medications and performance of treatments Develop and maintain a record of the care provided to each resident Collaborate with all levels of nursing personnel, physicians, and department managers to provide individualized resident care Provide resident assessment-related education and maintain knowledge of age-specific care Requirements: Current, valid Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure to practice in the State of California Current BCLS certification LVN graduate from an accredited School of Nursing At least six months prior LVN experience in a general acute care hospital setting or acquired equivalent competency in a similar setting Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information, and to communicate effectively in the English language What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate: $31.50-$48.00 Opportunity to work in a dynamic and compassionate healthcare environment Collaborative and supportive team environment How to Apply: If you are a dedicated and compassionate LVN looking to make a difference in the lives of our residents, please apply to this role today!
