Requirements Valid RN license in the state of employment with current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Proven experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, assisted living facilities or nursing homes. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner or Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation. Critical care experience preferred—especially ICU or trauma center experience—along with familiarity in emergency medicine and urgent care settings. Skills in IV insertion/infusion therapy, phlebotomy, specimen collection/processing, and sterile processing techniques. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy/physiology knowledge, ICD-10 coding standards, CPT coding for procedures and treatments. Ability to perform physical examinations effectively while demonstrating excellent patient assessment skills. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is highly valued; additional experience in hospice & palliative medicine or occupational health is a plus.
