General Summary Performs a variety of duties and applies utilization and care management techniques to determine the most efficient use of resources to support the provision of appropriate, cost effective and quality health care. Works in a team type assignment or Care Coordination Team (CCT) Model (Care Manager and Social Worker teams are assigned to patients by physician practice) to address patient care transition needs. Provides leadership in the integration of utilization and care management principles throughout the hospital. Full-time 80 hours bi-weekly General Summary Provides supervision of the daily operations and work activities of professional nursing and ancillary services staff on assigned unit. Able to support ongoing operations of department/unit independently as needed. Provides direct patient care as required. Oversees the successful delivery of quality patient care, service excellence and customer satisfaction. Provides direct individualized patient care at an experienced practitioner level as required. Full time - 80 hours pay period Nights - 11pm-7am Some weekend/holiday time may be required Call time required Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a 44-bed department where we care for over 450 ill newborns each year. Our patients are babies needing advanced care for prematurity, whole body cooling, surgery, hypoglycemia, sepsis, and more. Our NICU is a regional transport center for ill newborns. PRN 3 12 hour shifts per week Every 3rd weekend Every 3rd major and minor holiday. General Summary Provides clinical support services to patient care staff by performing a variety of duties related to patient care. Takes patient vital signs, assists patients with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, feeding, toileting, etc.), inventories and replenishes supplies and equipment, and performs special assigned duties such as performing EKGs and Point-of-Care testing.
