Summary of Duties: This position provides health services to students and school staff. Responsibilities include: administering health screenings and medications, providing first aid care to students and staff, providing instruction on health-related topics, and other duties as assigned by the School Principal and Director of Student Services, and Special Education and Related Services. Qualifications: • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a B.S. in Nursing • Valid Commonwealth of Virginia registered nursing license • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; ability to assist with lifting select students as needed • Two years of previous experience with child and adolescent health care preferred Salary: Range for 2026-2027 is $54,590 to $85,329 with an additional supplement of $4,230 for the advanced degree of Masters's or $8,460 for Doctorate.
