Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team at Lotus Village Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation, a skilled nursing facility in Amelia, North Carolina. As a CNA at our facility, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working closely with our nursing staff to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.

  • Take and record patient vital signs, lift, move, and transport residents using proper body mechanics.

  • Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse management.

  • Communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

  • Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

  • Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.

Requirements:

  • Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC.

  • Current/active CPR certification, preferred.

  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

  • Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Customer service orientation with the ability to work well under pressure.

  • Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
