About the Role

As an RN in our skilled nursing facility, you’ll be a cornerstone of our clinical team, providing hands-on care, critical assessments, and clinical leadership. You'll collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure every resident receives the dignity and support they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Assess and monitor residents’ health status and respond promptly to changes

  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team

  • Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs as needed

  • Document accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)

  • Follow all policies and procedures of the facility

  • Serves as charge nurses when assigned

  • Participates as required in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.

  • Attends all required educational activities and meetings. Documents care per policy requirements.

  • Maintains confidentiality of resident and facility information.

  • Demonstrates respect of resident rights and dignity.

Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered RN license in Maryland or Multistate

  • CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

  • Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus—but we’ll train the right candidate
