We are looking for a few qualified Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to promote and restore residents’ health. You will work with a variety of residents, and you will provide direct nursing care along with physical or psychological support when required. Our pay rate just increased recently, we have excellent shift differentially, weekend differential, and pick up pay bonus!!

 

$2.50 Night shift differential and $1.00 weekend differential!  Plus, we offer bonus pay for picking up extra shifts!!

LPN starting wage is $27.75 to $31.50.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:

·      Identify patients’ care requirements, focus on their needs and act on them

·      Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support

·      Resolve or report on residents’ needs or problems

·      Pass medications and perform treatments

·      Monitor and record patient’s condition and document provided care services. Enter orders and perform assessments.

·      Treat medical emergencies

·      Follow care regulations and standards

·      Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team

 

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Skills:

Experience: One‐year experience in healthcare field preferred but not required Essential Functions: 1. Directs patient to exam room and prepares patient for exam or treatment by identifying height, weight, respirations, blood pressure, temperature, additional testing, and records same on chart. Will also interview patient to obtain history allergies, reconciles medication list and records on chart as requested. 2. Write or call Rx after obtaining surgeon/provider authorization for all department surgeons/providers as needed. Chart as written in patient’s chart 3. Email, fax or call in any insurance referrals.
