Highlights of the Position

Based on the Robert Packer Hospital campus in Sayre, PA, this Advanced Practice Provider role is 100% ambulatory
You will evaluate and manage adult patients with common GI conditions, support longitudinal IBD and hepatology follow‑up, optimize medication therapy, coordinate care, and provide pre‑/post‑procedure education
You will collaborate closely with gastroenterologists, fellow APPs, RNs, and clinic leadership within an integrated multi‑specialty system

Candidate Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with current national certification
Eligible for Pennsylvania licensure, prescriptive authority, and DEA. Current BLS required (ACLS preferred).
Prior gastroenterology or internal medicine experience is preferred; motivated new graduates with strong adult medicine rotations and a clear interest in GI will be considered
Success in this role requires excellent patient education, team communication, EMR documentation proficiency, and a collaborative, solutions‑oriented approach.
