We are seeking a dedicated LPN to provide private duty, one-on-one care for a wonderful 18-year-old male child in the Whitney area. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a kind and appreciative family.

Schedule:

Saturday-Sunday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You’ll Do as an LPN:

Perform G-tube care and feedings
Aspiration precautions
Supervise for safety
Assist client with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, bed mobility, transfers, and eating per individualized care plans
Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisors

What We’re Looking For:

Current RN or LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania
Pediatric & G-tube experience
CPR certification (preferred)
Reliable, compassionate, & patient-centered
Ability to chart electronically (Statewise) and complete documentation accurately

What will you be doing? The part time Nurse is responsible for promoting a safe and therapeutic environment for clients all clients of BriteLife Recovery. At BriteLife Recovery, we offer a unique opportunity for nurses to maintain their therapeutic relationships with their patients without the chaos and unsafe staffing ratios that are common in the hospital setting. There are no bedpans, IVs, or bed alarms and all clients perform their own ADLs. What tasks are required? Assists clinical team with the Admissions process; Administers medications, treatments and procedures according to standard nursing practices and applicable facility policies; Carries out a plan of care and medication orders from Physicians and Nurse Practitioners; Educates clients regarding potential side effects of medications and observes for side effects; Monitors clients for substance misuse related withdrawal symptoms; Maintains electronic health records (EHR); Provides crisis management (often involving intoxicated clients); Positively promotes BriteLife Recovery to prospective clients and employees. Ability to provide education and information to individuals and groups, through formal and/or informal processes, concerning their substance use.
