
Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse
Travel Hospice LPN – Colorado Springs, CO

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 5x8s, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Pay Range: $1,900–$2,021/week (gross)
Position Overview
A reputable hospice organization in Colorado Springs is seeking an experienced Travel LPN to join their interdisciplinary team. This role focuses on providing compassionate end‑of‑life care, supporting patients and families, and ensuring comfort, dignity, and clinical excellence in the home or facility setting. The ideal clinician is dependable, organized, and confident in autonomous field work.
Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled nursing care to hospice patients in accordance with the plan of care
- Perform assessments, monitor symptoms, and communicate changes to the RN Case Manager and care team
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
- Document all care accurately and timely in the EMR
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered care
- Participate in on‑call rotation if required by the facility (not typical for this shift)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of LPN experience, hospice experience strongly preferred
- Active Colorado LPN license
- BLS certification
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in the field
- Reliable transportation for home visits
