This 99 bed, long term care and skilled rehabilitation center in beautiful Clearlake, California, is in need of full time LVNs for our night shift. We are excited to offer excellent pay ranging from $38 to $45 per hour based on experience, affordable health benefits and extend a four on two off schedule that gives you two weekends free a month!

The ideal candidate would be licensed in California,up to date on their CPR certification or able to obtain by end of orientation, proficient in multitasking, possess a passion for patient advocacy, detailed orientated, capable of leading the cnas under your stewardship with efficiency, comfortable speaking with families, practitioners and community partners and ultimately have a love for the population we serve.

Further Nursing Objectives include but are not limited to:

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Company Infection Control Manual.
  • Understands, participates and assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
  • Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
  • Notifies other Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc.
  • Conducts family and patient education.
  • Demonstrates the ability to administer medications timely and according to facility policy.
  • Demonstrates the ability to administer treatments timely and according to facility policy.
  • Demonstrates ability to receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act
  • Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

  • Currently licensed as LVN in state.
