Per Diem / On-Call Caregiver – HHA Direct Care Worker

The Caregiver is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to clients in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, implementing care plans, promoting comfort and safety, and maintaining accurate documentation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist clients with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, toileting, etc.)
• Support activities of daily living (feeding, mobility, positioning, etc.)
• Promote client safety and comfort by following care plans and proper procedures
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold agency standards and policies
• Document care provided and client responses in a timely manner
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and families
• Work collaboratively with families, supervisors, and care team members
• Perform all other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• At least 2 years of related client care experience (preferred)
• CNA/HHA/Direct Care Worker certification (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must pass background and reference checks

SHIFT & LOCATION

• Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• Every Saturday or Every Sunday
• Service areas: Montgomery County (King of Prussia, PA | Hatfield, PA | Royersford, PA)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. as needed
