YOUR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be working with our clients helping them with day-to-day activities so that they can age in place. You will have a MAJOR impact on their life helping them with things like….

Bathing and dressing so they can start their day feeling good.

Preparing nutritious meals for them so their body can heal, and they will have the energy they need to make it through the day.

Make sure they are taking their medications to reduce visits to the hospital.

Sometimes run errands for them.

Helping with light housekeeping so that their environment is clean and safe…

Assist them with other mental and physical exercises designed to help them improve their health and reduce the risk of fall.

As part of the nonprofit Givens Communities , Givens Aldersgate At Home supports residents within our communities and the surrounding Mecklenburg area so you can truly get to know the people you support. As a Home Care Aide and Companion, you'll have the opportunity to get to know your clients one-on-one, helping them live a healthy, happy, and safe life at home. We’re looking for PRN Home Care Aide and Companion's to float roughly 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm, with every other weekend required. We have also started offering some 12-hour overnight shifts. This department supports our Givens Aldersgate campus, as well as off campus clients in the greater Charlotte community.
