Our providers and care team deliver a full spectrum of women’s health services, including routine gynecologic care, prenatal and postpartum care, preventive health, and patient education. We’re seeking a Registered or Certified Medical Assistant to join our patient-focused team. This PRN role is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful patient interactions, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values teamwork while enjoying flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and prepare patients for exams, procedures, and provider visits

  • Obtain and record accurate vital signs, health histories, and medication information

  • Assist providers with in-office procedures, immunizations, and lab testing

  • Perform specimen collection, labeling, and documentation according to established protocols

  • Support care coordination, follow-up calls, and patient education

  • Manage workload messages, medication refills, and provider communications

  • Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies in accordance with infection control and safety standards

  • Contribute to a positive clinic atmosphere through teamwork and excellent communication

What We’re Looking For

  • Current RMA or CMA credential recognized in the State of Montana (or eligible to obtain upon hire)

  • Prior clinic or outpatient experience preferred

  • CPR certification preferred

  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and laboratory values

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting

PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. Proficient computer skills including keyboarding, navigation within a windows operating system, and use of electronic mail with exposure to electronic medical records systems. Demonstrates customer service skills that support a positive patient experience. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Must sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, and reach above shoulders throughout the workday. Ability to lift 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other team member, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case- by -case basis. Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine-hand manipulation skills. Will be exposed to the following hazards on a frequent basis: mechanical, electrical, chemical, blood and body fluids. Will be required to wear protective clothing and equipment as needed.
