Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable RN Educator to join our hospital team. This role will serve as a general educator, focusing on onboarding new RNs, PCAs, and CSTs, as well as developing and delivering educational programs across various strategies. The RN Educator will p

lay a vital role in fostering a culture of continuous learning, ensuring staff are well-prepared to respond effectively to emergency situations, and supporting operational excellence through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Work Schedule:  

Monday through Friday, dayshift only.  
No weekends, holidays, or call requirements.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hire RNs, PCAs, and CSTs, ensuring a smooth integration into the organization.  
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational offerings, including curricula focused on emergency response and emergency medical management.  
  • Support and coordinate operational activities related to educational programs, collaborating with subject matter experts, multimedia developers, and learning management specialists.  
  • Create an engaging learning environment that promotes professional growth for organizational staff and external providers.  
  • Collaborate with departmental leadership and other organizational departments to identify educational needs.  
  • Develop evidence-based, best-practice curricula tailored to the target audience, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.  
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and continuously seek improvements.  
  • Maintain current knowledge of adult learning principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices in healthcare education.  
  • Ensure all educational activities align with hospital policies and accreditation standards.

Qualifications:

  • Requires 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires current organizational-specified CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications.
  • Requires knowledge of adult learning principles, regulatory requirements, and educational program management.
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and software applications. v2

Overview PRN/Supplemental RN Case Manager – IU White Memorial & IU Frankfort Hospitals The PRN/Supplemental RN Case Manager supports IU White Memorial and IU Frankfort hospitals by providing flexible, as-needed case management services to ensure seamless patient care coordination across the care continuum. This role involves working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to plan, coordinate, and facilitate patient care from pre-admission through post-discharge, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and appropriate utilization of resources. Key Responsibilities: Support the care coordination process by assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans. Ensure patients are assigned the appropriate level of care, receive necessary services, and transition smoothly to post-discharge care settings. Perform accurate, timely, and effective discharge planning in collaboration with clinical teams. Communicate with third-party payers to verify coverage and authorization requirements. Educate patients and families regarding care plans, medications, and health management. Administer education and prevention programs to promote health and wellness. Support hospital compliance with regulatory and payer guidelines, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance. Assist with documentation and software systems such as Cerner, MCCM, SMS, and Windows applications. Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Nursing required. BSN preferred.
