Responsibilities

Duties

Perform complete medical surveillance and pre-employment physical assessments.
Coordinate and conduct other specific programs, e.g., hearing conservation, vision screening, etc., related to general health maintenance and health promotion offered employees.
Recommend placement consistent with job requirements, periodic job related medical surveillance, and fitness for duty.
Interpret results of examinations and differentiate between normal and abnormal conditions.
Utilize the nursing process to formulate patient care plans.
Identify and document the effectiveness of care provided and revises care plan, as needed.
Assist in updating occupational health programs, drafting and developing SOPs, directives and local occupational health regulations.

Performs other duties as assigned.
