RN Psych Full-time

Registered Nurse (Psychiatry)  

Location: Nocatee, FL
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week | No Sundays 
Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience 

Deliver infusion-based psychiatric care in a supportive outpatient setting focused on patient safety, comfort, and balance. 
This role is well suited for RNs with strong IV skills who value meaningful patient interaction and a calm clinical environment. 

 

About the Role 

  • Provide psychiatric infusion care in an outpatient clinic setting 
  • Monitor patients closely to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate treatment 
  • Support a patient-centered experience throughout each visit 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Administer ketamine infusions via IV while following established protocols 
  • Monitor patient responses and provide reassurance throughout treatment 
  • Educate patients and families on the infusion process and expectations 
  • Maintain thorough, compliant clinical documentation 
  • Follow medication safety, sterile technique, and infection control standards 
  • Assist with telehealth support when not administering infusions 
  • Remain flexible and collaborate with team members as needed 

 

Requirements (Must-Haves) 

  • Current, active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license 
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program 
  • Strong IV placement and management skills 
  • Knowledge of medications, sterile techniques, and infection control 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to adapt in a collaborative outpatient clinical environment 

 

Nice-to-Haves 

  • Experience in psychiatric, infusion, or outpatient nursing 
  • Background in behavioral health, wellness, or recovery-focused care 
  • Comfort supporting patients through emotional or vulnerable moments

Job Title: MDS Nurse (RN) Job Type: Full-Time Salary: Negotiable MDS Nurse (RN) Position Summary: Acts as chairperson of the inter-disciplinary care plan team. Works with the inter-disciplinary team in developing plan of care for each resident. Establish/update the initial plan of care within five days of admission. Maintain and update the plan of care for each resident at a minimum of biweekly. Assist in the scheduling of participation of the resident or resident’s responsible party in the care plan meetings. Meets daily with Therapy Director to review therapy participation and assessment schedule for skilled residents. Inform all IDT members of any significant change in resident’s condition that will necessitate a full resident assessment. Notifies and coordinates the IDT for MDS assessments completion according to the admission date, assessment reference date, and MDS transmission date. Develops a MDS assessment calendar. Performs MDS nursing assessment and or ensures nursing staff performs MDS nursing assessment according to the required time frame. In the absence of an interdisciplinary team member the MDS Coordinator is responsible for completion of the additional section(s) of the MDS. Monitors compliance by the IDT members in completion of the MDS and care planning process. Reports ongoing performance related issues to the Administrator as appropriate.
