Position Summary

The NNP functions collaboratively with the supervising Neonatologists to coordinate the patient care needs of the high-risk newborn population at Children's Hospital and Clinics of MN. The NNP collaboratively manages the critically ill infant's cares using expertise and evaluative tools to address the overall medical management of the infants.

License/Certification requirements: Current MN RN License, Current MN APRN License, Current BLS Certification, Current NRP. Completed advanced training program and is certified by NCC as a neonatal nurse practitioner. 2 years level III NNP experience preferred. 500 Clinical Hours within last three years.

Ability to work well both independently and as a team member. Uphold NNP best practices in all practice environments. Flexibility.
