Travel Registered Nurse – Hospice

We’re looking for aHospice RN – Regional Support to join our team. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide direct care to patients and support to families, while also serving as a floating clinician—temporarily assigned to different hospice branches based on census needs or staffing gaps. As a Hospice RN – Regional Support, You Will:

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care for hospice patients

  • Manage and implement individualized plans of care

  • Support and lead interdisciplinary team members (LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, etc.)

  • Assess and address patients’ physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental needs

  • Accurately document all care provided and ensure compliance with hospice protocols

  • Educate families and caregivers on care instructions, medications, and safety

  • Participate in the on-call rotation and provide after-hours care as needed

  • Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and the care team

  • Assist with referrals, regulatory documentation, and payer compliance

  • Travel to various Gentiva hospice locations as assigned to fill urgent needs

Schedule & Travel:

This role typically follows a Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional on-call responsibilities. Travel is required and may include:

  • Regional travel required, including overnight stays within a multi-state area or up to a 100-mile radius, based on assignment needs.

A company fleet car is provided for eligible employees.

About You

Qualifications – What You’ll Bring:

  • Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of employment

  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (hospice, home health, acute care, long-term care, or oncology preferred)

  • Current CPR certification

  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Preferred Experience (not required):

  • Hospice and end-of-life nursing experience

  • Skilled in clinical assessments and compassionate communication

  • Strong critical thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable working in varied environments with shifting needs

  • Proficient in documentation and electronic health records

  • Calm and supportive in crisis situations; skilled at family engagement

Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Intervention (3300) - Dayshift

Unit Overview: We welcome New Grads! The Cardiac Intervention Unit (CIU) will facilitate care to the following patient populations: patients admitted for cardiac catheterization, elective coronary interventional procedures including PTCA, stent, atherectomy, electrophysiology testing and/or ablation, elective electrical cardioversion, permanent cardiac pacemaker or AICD implantation. CIU's nurse to patient ratio is 1:5. Anticipated length of stay for these patients is less than 48 hours. The unit provides expert quality care to patients utilizing an interdisciplinary collaborative approach in an effort to return the patient to their highest level of wellness.
