The Medical Assistant I role functions under the clinical supervision of the Physician/Advanced Practice Provider in a primary care practice. This individual assists in the preparation and delivery of patient care as directed by the provider(s) and other licensed clinical personnel. Clinical duties are skillfully and consistently performed per established clinical policy and procedure.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma required.
Required: Either a graduate of an accredited MA school OR a current MA certification.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:

National certification preferred.
Current CPR certification required.

Hours:

Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm

Support front office operations including scheduling, answering phones, and processing payments. Assist clinical staff by preparing injections, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. Take patient vitals, perform blood draws , and assist with other clinical procedures as needed. Educate and engage patients about treatment protocols, clinic services, and healthy lifestyle habits. Document patient interactions and procedures accurately in the EMR system. Collaborate closely with the clinic team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient outcomes.
