Pay Rate: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour (depending on experience).

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Flexible Schedule, Compassionate Care! Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linens
Assist with dressing, toileting, and mobility needs
Plan and prepare nutritious meals; assist with feeding as needed
Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) when ordered
Perform range of motion exercises and simple therapy procedures as instructed
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families
Provide respite care for family/caregivers when appropriate
Participate in care planning, team meetings, and quality improvement activities
Adhere to documentation standards and professional conduct guidelines

Requirements

Current CNA certification and successful completion of state-approved training and competency evaluation
At least 18 years of age
Ability to read and follow written instructions and document the care provided
Comfortable providing specialized care to terminally ill patients, understands hospice philosophy
Empathy, tact, patience, and strong communication skills
Current CPR certification
Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation for agency-related travel
Good organizational skills and ability to work independently
