Key Responsibilities
- Lead risk identification and mitigation efforts across system, hospital, and ambulatory settings
- Oversee proactive risk management initiatives
- Evaluate claims and support litigation management
- Serve as a consultant to executives, physicians, and staff on risk‑related matters
- Direct and monitor incident reporting processes
- Provide guidance and support to physicians proactively and throughout the claims process
- Must be a Registered Nurse - Current Ohio RN license
- Master’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred
- 3–5 years of relevant healthcare management experience
- Background in nursing, law, insurance, or claims
- Certification in Healthcare Risk Management (preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
