The NP practices independently and / or in collaboration with the physician(s) in inpatient and / or clinic settings, and in accordance with established protocols, to provide cost- effective, quality care that is individualized and developmentally appropriate. The NP performs physical assessments / examinations; develops diagnosis; formulates initiates, reinforces plans of care and /or treatments for resolution of the clinical problem(s) or to maintain health. The NP monitors and evaluates the plan of care, and makes revisions as needed, or initiates consultations / referrals when appropriate. The NP provides patient care within their legal scope of practice, hospital granted privileges, departmental job description, and their competency and according to hospital policy.
The position must be a Nurse Practitioner with have sedation privileges.
