Providence Medical Group’s premier OB/GYN Health Center, is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join its comprehensive women’s health clinic located in Southern Oregon. This role will provide clinic-based obstetrical care, well-woman exams and screenings, reproductive medicine including IUD and Nexplanon, assessment diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions, and promote health through patient education and counseling. Southern Oregon is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and offers excellent skiing, watersports, mountain biking, rafting and hiking in the nearby mountains and Rogue Valley.   • Full-time position

  • Providing general OB and wellness care, clinic and/or delivering position available

  • Clinic-based CNM schedule is 4.5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Delivering CNM schedule is 1, 24-hour call shift falling between Sunday to Saturday, and 2 clinic days between Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Description and Requirements: Provides antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, family-planning and well-woman gynecological care independently to adolescent and adult patients based on scope of practice and established guidelines. Consults appropriately with consulting physicians. Provides collaborative care or referral to medical management as appropriate. This care is guided by practice guidelines and standards established jointly by the LMG Midwifery staff and Program Director under the direction of the Clinical VP of Women’s Services. Follows all organizational, regulatory and human resource policies and procedures. Practice includes full participation in outpatient and inpatient care. Practices full scope midwifery. Full scope women’s healthcare and midwifery experience required. Ability to work with people in a diplomatic and tactful manner, utilizing effective leadership and group process skills. Bilingual preferred but not required. Education: As required by licensure. Certification and Licenses: Current applicable state license as a Registered Nurse/ Nurse Midwife/ Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Privileges (NP-PP) required.
