Position Summary

Asante’s Black Oak Immediate Care is open 365 days a year from 8:00am to 8:00pm and the RN’s in this role will work within those days and hours. A Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver responsible and accountable for their practice for assigned patient(s). Utilizing the nursing process, the RN delivers superb health care in a compassionate manner, is committed to excellence and empowered to streamline and improve operations.

Education

Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience

2 years of recent Emergency RN experience is required
Proficient skills regarding ESI triage criteria is required

License/Certification

RN: Registered Nurse licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing required upon start
BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support is required upon start
ACLS: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support is required upon start
CEN: Certified Emergency Nurse is preferred

Who We Are Recently recognized as a level 2 trauma designation, Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC) has a state-of-the-art surgical department with 15 OR suites, including 2 dedicated cardiac surgery suites and hybrid operating room. With 9-10 blocks per day, ARRMC performs approximately 10,000 cases per year with a variety of specialties. These specialties include: general/vascular, neurosurgery, total joint/orthopedics, bariatric surgery, trauma, ENT, plastics, urology and cardiothoracic surgery. As a progressive surgical hospital, ARRMC performs robotic urological, gynecological and general surgery - and was one of the first in the state of Oregon to employ the use of the Mazor neurosurgical robot and to perform transcather aortic valve replacement (TAVR). ARRMC also performs Davinci Si and Xi robotic surgeries in general, urology and GYN specialties.
