Position Summary
Working collaboratively with clinical staff, nursing, and multiple referring Boston Children’s Hospital specialty providers, facilitating needed treatments and clinical support for patients and families in this ambulatory infusion and procedural clinic, which sees 10,000+ patients and families annually, 7 days a week. Treatments include biologic infusions, blood products, food allergy challenges, and day treatment for newly diagnosed diabetes, migraine management, sickle cell fever and pain, and PICC complications.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage patients and clinical care coordination, on-site practitioner coverage for emergent patient care, and direct care for patients experiencing PICC complications, food challenges, and assessment of new patients seen in Infusion Center

•Independently managing infusion and acute reactions

Schedule: per diem, 2 shifts in a 6 week period
Location: Waltham with flexibility to cover Boston's Infusion Center as needed
