The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices and ethics, and concepts under the direction of a practitioner to meet patient needs in the medical office setting.

Required Skills

In collaboration with the Health and Wellness Director, this role provides high-quality care through health assessments, medication management, and coordination with residents, families, and the care team. Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain. Experience, Competencies, and Skills: At least four (4) years working in geriatric nursing, including experience with medication administration, delivery systems, and pharmacies. At least one (1) year of relevant supervisory experience, including staff scheduling and management, is preferred. Experience with memory care is a plus.
