Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing Gastroenterology (GI) team at Gastropark Ridge. The ideal candidate will support our board-certified gastroenterologists in providing high-quality, patient-centered care for a wide range of digestive health conditions. This role is 100% inpatient.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and medical histories on GI patients in the hospital

• Call responsibility involved- to be discussed during interview• Order and interpret diagnostic tests related to gastrointestinal conditions.• Manage chronic GI disorders such as GERD, IBD, IBS, liver disease, and more.• Collaborate closely with GI physicians in outpatient and inpatient settings.• Perform follow-up care and education for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.• Provide pre- and post-procedural counseling and medication management.• Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR system.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Illinois.• Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology NP.• Minimum of 1–2 years of NP experience, preferably in a GI or internal medicine setting.• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills.• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,000-$135,000 on an annualized basis.
