What You’ll Do

  • Lead Admissions Staff — Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for a dedicated clinical admissions team.
  • Guide Patient Flow — Oversee referrals, admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure timely, accurate, and patient-centered transitions.
  • Ensure Clinical Excellence — Review documentation, assessments, and initial treatment plans for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support High-Acuity Cases — Offer clinical guidance and escalation support for complex or urgent admissions.
  • Drive Quality & Compliance — Participate in audits, monitor regulatory standards, and champion best practices.
  • Collaborate Across Departments — Work closely with nursing, medical staff, and leadership to optimize throughput and enhance patient experience.
  • Champion Patient-Centered Care — Support families, uphold patient rights, and promote culturally responsive care.

Requirements

 

What You Bring

  • Current RN license (Montana or compact state)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Experience in admissions and at least 2 years in healthcare, behavioral health, or inpatient care
  • Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and support staff through challenging situations
  • Familiarity with EHR systems and regulatory standards

Preferred: Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
