  • Developing individualized healthcare plans and participating in 504/IEP meetings as needed
  • Educating students and staff on wellness, safety, and disease prevention
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school administrators to support student access and inclusion
  • Documenting care provided and maintaining accurate, confidential health records
  • Conducting health screenings (vision, hearing, etc.) and immunization compliance checks
  • Responding promptly to medical emergencies and maintaining a calm, reassuring presence

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Current RN license (unrestricted)
  • Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred
  • Knowledge of state and federal guidelines for student health
  • Strong assessment, triage, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • CPR and First Aid certification
