 Part-time/Midshift position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA

 

Working under the direction of the RN/Charge Nurse, the LVN provides nursing care within his/her scope of practice following unit specific standards of care and the policies and procedures of Corona Regional Medical Center.

 

The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. Qualifications

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:

 

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Completion of dysrhythmia for monitor techs course
  • Completion of a medical terminology course or a minimum of 6 months working in a healthcare setting
  • Minimum 6 months acute care hospital experience on a telemetry unit
  • Prior experience working as a telemetry/monitor tech
  • Prior experience working as a unit secretary

 

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association required. 
  • Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) certification required within 90 days of hire required.
