Responsibilities

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is a registered professional nurse who has specialized skills, knowledge, and experience in patient assessments and follow-up and is duly authorized to perform designated acts of medical diagnosis, prescription of medical therapeutics and corrective measures in collaboration with and under the supervision of a licensed physician.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.     Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse licenses in the state.

2.     BLS certification upon hire and maintained current. 

3.     Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the specialty is preferred.

4.     Master’s in nursing required, Doctorate of Nursing preferred.

5.     Two or more years of clinical experience as a nursing practitioner at a physician practice or in a hospital with a related specialty is strongly preferred.

6.     Eligible for Drug Enforcement Administration Registration.

 

 

Pay Transparency

Olympia Fields Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $67.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
