Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Orwigsburg, PA is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity to supplement your income or transition back into the nursing field while working a consistent day shift.

Position Details

Role: RN Supervisor
Schedule: Part-Time | 11:00 PM–7:00 AM or 7AM -3PM
Setting: Skilled Nursing / Rehabilitation

RN Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Manage emergency situations promptly and professionally
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members

RN Qualifications

Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of long-term care or rehabilitation experience
Current CPR certification
Strong clinical judgment and ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
Commitment to person-centered, compassionate care
Ability to perform physical tasks required in a skilled nursing environment

Administers assessments, treatments, medications, and diets accurately, observing patient response, as evidenced by documentation in the medical record and lack of negative outcomes. Completes all required resident charting every shift. Makes rounds on unit every shift; assess orderliness, infection control and resident care Observes and documents changes in residents’ condition and report to the attending physician and other departments. Participates in discharge planning with physician, and other departments according to residents’ needs. Directs, supervises, and assists CNAs and other nursing staff in providing bedside care. Works collaboratively with other members of the health care team in coordination of the resident’s care as evidenced by other department feedback and coordinates communication among team.
