We are currently seeking a FT Nurse Unit Manager to join our team. The Unit Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care delivery at all times on his or her unit, in an atmosphere of dignity, respect and caring. He/she will be responsible for leading, supervising, developing, and evaluating staff to ensure the provision of high quality care and outcomes and maintianing compliance with federal and state regulations and Daughters of Miriam Policies and Procedures.  We are looking for an experienced and accomplished leader to join our team.  We have a strong, dedicated and compasionate team of proffesionals.   
 
Essential Qualifications:

·         Must be a licensed RN.

·         Must be clinically and professionally current and competent in knowledge and practice to ensure delivery of quality care.

·         Commitment to the care of the elderly.

·         Must be able to interact appropriately with families, residents and staff.

·         Must be able to interact on a professional level with all departments.

·         Must be able to act as a role model for all staff members under scope of management.

·         Day shift scheduling for nursing staff.

·         Weekend point person for the campus staff.

·         Other duties as assigned.
