Cliveden Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistants to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidates will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including our long-term and short-term care units. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. A strong understanding of physiology and experience in geriatrics will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
  • Provide catheter care and assist with mobility needs of patients.
  • Support nursing staff in providing basic life support when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to address concerns and provide updates on patient status.
  • Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with facility policies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills in areas such as ICU care or urgent care.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.
  • Previous experience in assisted living, or long-term care is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of basic life support techniques and ability to perform catheter care.
  • Strong understanding of physiology related to patient care needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
