We are looking for caring and dependable individuals to join our team as State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs). In this essential role, you will provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents, helping them with daily living activities and contributing to a safe, clean, and compassionate environment. Qualifications

• Must have successfully completed a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) program, or be enrolled and complete the program within four months of hire

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hygiene assistance to residents

• Assist residents with feeding and daily living needs

• Perform basic treatments and procedures as directed by the charge nurse

• Observe and report residents’ psycho-social and emotional needs

• Notify the Charge Nurse of any changes in residents’ conditions

• Maintain a clean and neat personal appearance

• Demonstrate respectful and professional behavior toward co-workers and facility contacts

• Use nursing home equipment properly and safely

• Follow OSHA guidelines for handling and storing chemicals and equipment

• Attend required in-service training programs

• Assist in other areas as directed by the Director of Nursing

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Lift up to 50 pounds

• Frequent bending, turning, pushing, and pulling

• Use of both hands and arms

• Exposure to odors, body secretions, and excrements

• Potential exposure to behavioral disorders

• Must be able to manage interpersonal conflicts effectively
