Caregiver Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)

  • Provide Alzheimer's and dementia care

  • Transport clients to appointments, errands, or activities (not required)

  • Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation

  • Offer medication reminders

  • Provide companionship and emotional support

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of professional caregiver experience, or

  • At least 2 years of personal caregiver experience (caring for a friend or family member)

  • Dependability is essential — our vulnerable clients rely on us, and missed shifts can mean going without care

  • Adaptable and culturally sensitive — able to respectfully care for clients from a wide range of backgrounds, lifestyles, and belief systems

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow care instructions

  • Able to work independently with a compassionate, patient approach
