Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our leadership team, the ADON will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring high-quality care and exceptional patient outcomes.

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and standards of practice

  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and coaching to improve patient care and staff performance

  • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with nursing staff, physicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of care

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements

  • Assist with the development and management of the annual budget for the nursing department

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, CLIA, and CMS

  • Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient care, treatment plans, and medication administration

  • Provide education and training to staff on new policies, procedures, and technologies

  • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and respect among nursing staff and other departments

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility, preferably in a related leadership role

  • Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Pennsylvania

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience coaching and mentoring staff

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and industry standards
