Position Summary

The Pavilion at Robinson Terrace Assisted Living Program is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Supervisor to join our leadership team. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day clinical oversight of medication administration and resident care processes within our assisted living community.

The LPN Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring medication practices remain safe, compliant with physician orders, and consistent with regulatory standards while also serving as a clinical resource for staff and residents.

This position works closely with the Administrator, RN leadership, and care staff to ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centered care.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee medication administration processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with physician orders and facility policies

• Conduct routine audits of medication rooms, medication carts, and medication administration records (MARs) to maintain regulatory compliance

• Identify, investigate, and resolve medication discrepancies while implementing corrective actions when needed

• Monitor medication ordering, storage, and documentation practices to ensure safe handling and timely administration

• Serve as a clinical resource to staff regarding medication procedures and resident care questions

• Address resident and family concerns related to clinical care and medication management in a professional and timely manner

• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacy providers, and interdisciplinary team members to maintain continuity of care

• Assist with quality assurance initiatives and clinical audits related to medication management and resident care processes

• Support staff education and reinforce best practices related to medication administration and documentation

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New York State

• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or senior services preferred

• Strong knowledge of medication administration and regulatory requirements

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams

• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
