Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support all functions related to quality care for our residents

  • Direct the day-to-day functions of certified nursing assistants

  • Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies

  • Complete processes and paperwork related to Admission, transfer, and discharge of our residents

  • Receive telephone orders from physicians and record on the Physicians Order Form

  • Transcribe physician's orders to resident charts, medication records, treatment/care plans, as required

  • Chart nurse's notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident, as well as the resident's response to the care

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid unencumbered nursing license

  • Must have valid CPR/BLS certification or be willing to obtain during orientation
