Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing department, focusing on improving patient outcomes, increasing patient satisfaction, and enhancing clinical operations

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices

  • Conduct daily rounds to assess the quality of care, identify areas for improvement, and provide coaching and support to nursing staff

  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement interdisciplinary care plans that meet the unique needs of our patients and residents

  • Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff to ensure exceptional patient care and staff development

  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed

  • Develop and manage department budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources

  • Foster a culture of excellence, respect, and collaboration among nursing staff and other departments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or related field) or higher

  • Experience in Nursing, with a focus on leadership and management

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina

  • Active BLS certification

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
