Responsibilities:

Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of the nursing department
Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents
Monitor and report on nursing department performance metrics, including quality of care, staff development, and resident satisfaction
Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including coaching, mentoring, and conducting performance evaluations
Foster a positive and respectful work environment that promotes open communication, teamwork, and continuing education
Participate in the development and management of the nursing budget

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a senior living or long-term care setting
Current LPN license and CPR certification
Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and industry standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of compassion and respect
